Custom Torsion Spring

Pricing includes maximum weight of 30 pounds material for music and hard drawn, 20 pounds material for oil tempered and stainless 302,  10 pounds material for stainless 17-7 and Inconel X750.  Depending on the size of your spring we will coil a quantity of parts equal to the maximum weight of available material.  For larger quantities please email springs@oharespring.com for a custom quote.

To add a surface finish purchase the "Surface Finish" product.  Electroplating will help prevent corrosion.  Parts are baked immediately after plating to prevent hydrogen embrittlement.  Plating certifications are available upon request for no extra charge.  We recommend passivation for stainless steel material.  Oil is dry to touch and helps prevent short term rust only.

Shot peening will help improve fatigue life.  This process is recommended when the spring is overstressed or will be subjected to more than 100,000 cycles.
